Joross Gamboa is not envious about Gerald Anderson’s success

Joross Gamboa attended the birthday party organized by StarStudio Magazine for Gerald Anderson last February 27 at the Fiamma Bar in Makati. Most showbiz fans know that Joross was the one who discovered Gerald over three years ago when the former went to GeneralSantosCity for a show. At the birthday party, Joross shared with ABS-CBN.com how he met Gerald. “Nakakatawa ‘yung nangyari.

Gerald was launched into stardom in 2006 after he became a member of the Big Four of Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition together with his ka-love team Kim Chiu who was the Teen Big Winner of the competition. From then on, this 20-year-old Fil-American cutie has starred in a number of hit TV series and movies and earned several endorsements. One may say that Gerald has already surpassed the achievements of the man who discovered him, but Joross told ABS-CBN.com that he doesn’t feel any insecurity toward Gerald.

Joross added that he is just thankful that Gerald is still a good friend to him and that nothing much has changed about the young man who once asked for his picture and autograph.

After starring in the teleserye Eva Fonda with Cristine Reyes and Jason Abalos, Joross has two independent films scheduled for release very soon. The first one is Pasan Krus where he plays son to Rosanna Roces while the other film is entitled Sumpa.
