Aga Muhlach helps Charlene fulfill Harvard dream
Actor and matinee idol Aga Muhlach expressed support for wife Charlene Gonzalez’s schooling at the Harvard University in the US where she will be taking up a Business Management Entrepreneurship short course.
In a report from Entertainment Live, Muhlach said he’s very proud of his wife for getting accepted at the prestigious university.
The actor said Gonzalez got accepted at the Harvard University by just sending an application.
“She just tried. She submitted ‘yong mga kailangan. And then one day, pagbukas niya sa Internet, pagbukas niya ng email niya she got accepted sa Harvard.”
Muhlach said that he’s extremely proud and happy for his wife since it has long been her dream to study in Harvard.
“I told her 'go.' Tagal niya nang pangarap ‘yan. So now that she got accepted, then go. At saka masaya lahat. Galing!” he said.
While Gonzales is in the US, Muhlach will be busy with three films. He is set to shoot a movie with Angel Locsin on April 25. He’ll also be doing two separate movie projects with Asia’s Song Bird Regine Velasquez and Claudine Barretto.
The Harvard dream
On Friday, Gonzalez flew to the US to pursue the month-long course. She will be staying at a dorm within the Harvard campus.
“I’m happy kasi not everyone is given the opportunity to be able to study at Harvard. Bata pa lang ako pangarap ko ng mag-aral sa Harvard,” the actress said.
Gonzalez revealed that it'll be her first time to be away from her family for a fairly long period. The actress said that she will surely miss her husband and twins Atasha and Andres.
“But Aga was telling me that this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Nag-text siya sa akin, 'I’m very proud of you.' Naiyak ako,” she shared.
Gonzalez said that she’ll be back at the end of the month in time for her birthday.
