Gerald Anderson, private tutor ni Kim

Kim Chiu knows na malaking bahagi si Kuya ng Pinoy Big Brother sa kung anumang maganda at malaking pagbabagong naganap sa buhay niya at ng kanyang pamilya.

She admits she was not prepared for the big time when she joined the PBB Teen Edition four years ago.

Then only 16, Kim had no idea she would emerge as PBBTE Big Winner.

“I joined Kuya’s house just to experience how it is to be part of his household and, well, to make the most of it na rin,” pahayag ni Kim.

Kaya when she was offered stardom in a silver platter after her PBB victory, Kim was caught unprepared.

Not only because she couldn’t act, kundi wala rin siyang ka-talent-talent, kahit sa pagsasayaw o kaya’y sa pagkanta.

She is grateful kay Gerald Anderson, her ka-loveteam and PBBTE runner-up, na patiently ay nagturo sa kanya ng pagsasayaw.

Gerald is a natural dancer, having been a former member of a dance group.

Kim hired a professional singer to teach her how to sing.

As for her acting, nagtiyaga siyang manood ng movies at tv series ng mga hinahangaan niyang artista at pinilit matuto sa akting nila.

Four years later, Kim is not just an ABS-CBN and Star Cinema talent to reckon with, isa na rin siya sa mga paboritong endorser ng iba’t ibang produkto.

Her earnings are also properly invested. Nakapagpatayo na siya ng bahay sa isang plush subdivision.

May pinamamahalaan na ring beauty parlor ang kanyang mga kapatid sa Cebu, Kim’s hometown.
