Karamihan ng mga awiting kanyang pinasikat tulad ng We Belong, Catch Me I’m Fallin and If I Give You My heart ay most requested pa rin sa radio stations.

“Natutuwa ako dahil may concert ulit ako.

Totoo kayang darating sa show sina Melai at Jason ng PBB Double Up?

Sila (managers and clients) ang nag-uusap.

Ejay Falcon denies getting a girl pregnant

In the two years that he has been in showbiz, Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition winner Ejay Falcon has survived the unsavory initiation male newcomers usually undergo, such as being tagged as a callboy, a macho dancer or the boytoy of a rich gay.

The half-French Mindoro native who helped his adoptive father carry cargo at the pier has sufficiently “exonerated” himself, proven “innocent” beyond reasonable doubt.

When Ejay started appearing in ABS-CBN soaps after taking an acting workshop, he was panned by detractors, calling him a “ham,” which challenged, instead of discouraged, him.

These days, Ejay has found himself the object of an Internet smear campaign accusing him of getting a non-showbiz unnamed and unpictured girl pregnant.

“I was the last to know,” Ejay shrugged off the yarn in a chat with Funfare. “I don’t even have a girlfriend. I broke up with my last girlfriend before I joined PBB. When I came out, I avoided having another girlfriend because I wanted to focus on my showbiz career.

Slowly but surely, Ejay’s acting is improving which is evident in the new ABS-CBN soap Tanging Yaman in which he again co-stars with Erich Gonzales, his leading lady in the just-concluded ABS-CBN soap Katorse (also with Enchong Dee). Unlike Katorse, Tanging Yaman is not a TV version of the Laurice Guillen hit drama. In it, Ejay and Erich play virtual siblings (not blood-related but they grow up in one family) in love.

Miss You Like Crazy Graded B

Oh my.

Yup, you read it right, may connection ang dalawa ngayon – sina Ruffa and Shaina dahil kay John Lloyd.

Decisions must be made and must be made fast. Pls guide me n show me the right way...”

May connection din kaya ito sa more than 20 missed calls ni Shaina sa actor?

Parang telenovela ang kuwento ha. Exciting. Magsalita kaya sina Ruffa at Shaina?

Sinabi mismo ni John Lloyd sa ilang panayam sa kanya na ang friendship niya with Shaina has nothing to do with the break-up.

Usap-usapan ding nag-kalabuan na sina John Lloyd at na-link sa kanyang si Ruffa Gutierrez, bago pa man napabalitang he is seeing Shaina.

Christi Lynn “Ashley” Landrito McGarry - RP's Top Model bet

Even before she could compete in the forthcoming Mutya ng Pilipinas contest as the US East Coast delegate, New York-based Christi Lynn “Ashley” Landrito McGarry was tapped by Roberto de Venecia, Mutya ng Pilipinas Inc. president, to represent the Philippines in the 17th Top Model of the World Search held in the State of North Rhine Westphalia, Dortmund, Germany last Sunday, Feb. 21.

“I helped train Ashley,” said Felix Manuel, member of Funfare’s “beauty experts,” who is working in New York. “She will be formally crowned as Mutya ng Pilipinas-US East Coast next month.”

According to Felix, the Top Model of the World is an international search for the ultimate model who is independent, talented and fashion conscious. It was first staged in 1993 in Miami by the Globana Group before the venue was moved to Germany. In 2005, it was held for the first time in Asia (China). In 2006, our very own Michelle de Leon placed second and later assumed the title after the winner resigned.

From Felix, Funfare learned that the 19-year-old 5’11” morena stunner was chosen by De Venecia as RP’s Top Model bet through engineer Danilo Pagsambugan’s Maharlikang Pilipino-USA Pageant based in the East Coast. Ashley is the daughter of Victoria Alba Landrito from Bicol and former PBA Magnolia player and model Christopher McGarry.

Added Felix, “She was valedictorian in her grammar school, Our Lady of Victories in New Jersey, where she was the president of the student body and captain of the girls’ basketball team. Ashley attended the Dr. Ronald E. McNair Academic High School, the academically-ranked No. 1 high school in the state of New Jersey and the 27th in the nation. She was a four-year varsity starter and MVP for her high school girl’s volleyball and basketball teams. Aside from excelling in sports, she was an active member of the Philosophy Club and president of the Varsity Club. Her passion for art and writing won numerous awards and contests in poetry, essay writing, prose, and illustration or painting, and attended a prestigious visual and performing arts program at New Jersey City University.”

A model, Ashley has a string of beauty titles: 2004 Miss Teen Philippines-USA, a search sponsored by Nena Kaufman’s Philippine Hearts and Hopes Society; in 2006 as US ambassadress who helped needy children in Bohol; first runner-up at the Miss Teen New Jersey-USA with over 120 contestants; and one of the USA’s Five Prettiest Filipina-Americans for 2007-2008.

Ashley had to sacrifice a full scholarship at PACE University in Manhattan (major in Marketing and Accounting) for a crack at both the Top Model and Mutya searches.

Mark Bautista passes test with flying colors

An endorser is only as good as the number of people he attracts to patronize his product. Judging by the sheer volume of diners who come in droves to Mang Inasal’s more than 200 branches, Mark Bautista is passing the test with flying colors.

People from all walks of life go to Mang Inasal nearest them to sample its authentic Ilonggo cuisine any time they want to. Call center agents and you can have their affordable dishes at the newly-opened Jupiter branch ready to serve them 24/7.

The homesick Ilonggo miles away from home can again enjoy his comfort food like the inasal, barquillos, molo soup and others by visiting any of the branches nationwide. He can even enjoy unlimited rice along the way. Viva boss Vic del Rosario, who owns a franchise, is happy at the results. Thus, he plans to put up another franchise in Trinoma next month. Edgar “Injap” Sia II, the man behind Mang Inasal is solidly behind del Rosario. In fact, the Iloilo-born Sia plans to have a total of 300 branches by this year. It means adding 100 more branches to the existing ones.

Christian-Karylle US concert a hit

Love at Last, the first US tandem of Christian Bautista and Karylle, was a huge hit, according to a report.

Tickets were sold out for the pre-Valentine show at the Cache Creek Resort Casino’s Club 88 in California.

Christian and Karylle regaled the audience with mostly standards, plus signature hits from their respective albums.

In keeping with the Valentine season, they also rendered romantic duets like I’ve Finally Found Someone, The Way You Look Tonight, Please Be Careful With My Heart and Somewhere (from the musical West Side Story where they teamed up for the Manila run in 2008).

To everyone’s surprise, casino owner and general manager Randy Takemoto, with his wife Dina, made a rare appearance in the venue upon learning about the show’s successful turnout on the first night.

After the show, entertainment director Ben Slaght and the Takemoto couple personally congratulated Christian and Karylle.

A repeat is being planned for next year.

Cecile Licad Concert

World-renowned Filipina classical pianist Cecile Licad will perform on Feb. 24 at the Kalayaan Hall of the Philippine Center on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan to help raise a “stand-by fund” to readily extend assistance to the victims of recurrent calamities in the Philippines.

Funfare’s Big Apple correspondent Edmund Silvestre, said that the project, called Handang Tumulong Disaster Relief Fund, is set up by Filipino community leaders in New York and New Jersey, in cooperation with the Philippine Consulate General, according to Consul General Cecilia Rebong.

The Filipino-American community’s creme de la creme, as well as New York’s classical music aficionados, are expected to troop to the Philippine Center and donate $50, $100 and $200.

“It’s really heartwarming to note that one of our most prized Filipino international artists like Cecile immediately said yes to this noble project,” Edmund quoted Rebong as saying. “Our purpose is to be prepared when the need for an emergency financial aid arises, especially during calamities or disasters back home.”

Cecile will play Philippine pieces and Chopin. A one-time protege of former First Lady Imelda Marcos, Cecile burst onto the international music scene long before Lea Salonga, Charice, Arnel Pineda and Lani Misalucha got noticed by the mainstream. She was called “a pianist’s pianist” by The New Yorker magazine. Her artistry is a blend of daring musical instinct and superb training.

Edmund gave the following facts about Cecile for the benefit of the present generation:

Born in Manila, Cecile began her piano studies at age three with her mother, Rosario Licad, and later studied with the highly regarded Rosario Picazo. At seven, she made her debut as soloist with the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Philippines. She went on to study with Rudolf Serkin at the Curtis Institute of Music.

As one of the youngest musicians to receive the prestigious Leventritt Gold Medal in 1981, Cecile has performed around the globe and has won international recognition. She also has appeared regularly with orchestras such as the Chicago Symphony, Boston Symphony, Philadelphia Orchestra and the New York Philharmonic, to name a few.

She has made recordings for Sony and recently released a new CD of works by Ravel (Le tombeau de Couperin, Gaspard de la Nuit, and Sonatine) on the MusicMasters label and a CD of works by Gottschalk on the Naxos label.

She was featured as a guest artist on Feb. 12 and 13 at The Post-Standard Classics Series: Romeo & Juliet at John H. Mulroy Civic Center in Syracuse, N.Y.; and on Jan. 31 at an all-Chopin recital in Ohio Wesleyan University’s Gray Chapel in Delaware, Ohio.

Added Edmund, “Cecile has never stopped performing across the United States
and abroad with other acclaimed musicians. She continues to promote Filipino talent wherever she goes.”

Pilipinas Got Talent ngayong Sabado

FMG.

Ganun sila kagaling.”

Huwag palalampasin ang pagsisimula ng Pilipinas Got Talent ngayong Sabado (Feb 20), 7:30 PM, at tuwing Linggo, 8:30 PM sa ABS-CBN.

Ruffa Gutierrez lalayasan ang ABS-CBN?

In the works na ang magiging Sunday showbiz-oriented talk show ng TV 5, na dinig nami’y itatapat sa The Buzz at Showbiz Central.

But this is just the tip of the iceberg.

Kabuntot ng tsikang ito ay ang da return ni Cristy Fermin on TV, at ang pagbibitiw ni Ruffa Gutierrez sa The Buzz!

First on Cristy, matatandaan na pinatawan siya ng indefinite suspension ng ABS-CBN sa kasagsagan ng iringan nila ni Nadia Montenegro, damay pati ang kanyang radio stint over DZMM. The decision turned out to be ‘‘for life.’’

Now on Ruffa, gaano katotoo na undecided pa ang ina nitong si Annabelle Rama kung tatanggapin ang offer o hindi? But in the midst of this vascillation, mukhang mas matimbang ang pagko-cross over in Ruffa with, of course, a much higher talent fee.

To this day, sariwa pa ang linyang binitawan noon ni Boy Abunda ukol sa raging competition on TV. In the final analysis, ani Kuya Boy Abunda, ang higit na makikinabang dito ay ang mga manonood.

Take it from the king of talk himself.

Pursigido ang actor/TV host to work things out with her.

Sometimes it’s really okay to give it a good try, to work on things pero ‘pag ikaw lang ang nagbibigay, nakakapagod din. Sabi nga, love is also knowing when to let go.

“This is a dream come true for me.

“I can ‘t do anything about that. That’s who I was. But I never really expected to last the whole season. I was not prepared to be the big winnner,” pagtatapat niya.

When asked about his plans, kung itutuloy niya sa pag-aartista ang pananalo niya, sinabi niyang : “I have no plans yet. I will have to talk to my family first and if ever I decide to pursue showbiz I will have to take acting workshops, work on my Tagalog. I may even go back to school, I have one more subject to go before I finish my business course.”

Juday to Jamby: Thanks but no thanks

In the 2004 elections, Jamby Madrigal ran for senator and lost. In 2007, she ran again and won, thanks largely to Judy “Juday” Ann Santos who endorsed and campaigned for her.

But in her tirade against Sen./Presidentiable Manny Villar for hiring
stars (Dolphy, Sarah Geronimo et al) as endorsers, Sen. Jamby (who’s running for president) said she regretted having hired a star to endorse her. Is she being “ungrateful” to Juday?

Asked if she, too, regretted having endorsed Jamby, Juday said no.

“Kahit naman siguro papano,” Juday said during the presscon for Lactacyd, the feminine wash she’s endorsing, “ I was able to convince four or five people to vote for her in every province.”

Juday was being humble. I’m sure she was a big factor in putting Jamby in the Senate, winning for Jamby not only “five votes” but, who knows, five million votes!

I think that she got my services because she actually believed in me; buong paniniwala ko sincere siya. I won’t take all the credit for her winning but it’s unfair for her to have said that. That’s her opinion and I don’t take it against her. All I can say is that edukada po akong tao. If I would say I regretted having endorsed her, para ko na ring sinira ang lahat ng produktong ini-endorso ko.”

Well said, Juday.

Now, does Juday think that Jamby will make a good president?

Another question, please!

In an interview with STAR reporter Pia Lee-Brago, Jamby said that her statement was “twisted” by her rivals to fuel the issue between her and Juday and that her decision not to rely on showbiz stars to endorse her was not a personal attack against Juday. “I will forever be grateful to her,” she added.

Meanwhile, Juday confirmed that in early April she’s leaving ahead of husband Ryan Agoncillo for their three-week holiday abroad where they plan to start on their joint project without any distraction — their first baby, that is.

At the moment, she said she’s undergoing a “work up” which should help her conceive. No need for any medical help because, according to Juday, she and Ryan are both “fertile.” They will also celebrate their first wedding anniversary in early May abroad.

As soon as they are back, Juday will resume shooting Hating Kapatid, her first starrer with Sarah Geronimo for Star Cinema/Viva Films and finalize a cooking show and Ryan his Talentadong Pinoy hosting job on TV5 and, according to the grapevine, a Sunday showbiz talkshow.

John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo 'rebond' in Malaysia

John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo enjoy a ‘rebonding’ time during their week-long stay in Malaysia where they shot some scenes for their latest (fourth) starrer, Star Cinema’s post-Valentine offering Miss You Like Crazy, again directed by Cathy Molina Garcia who directed their previous movies.

They have to shoot in Malaysia because in the movie, Bea’s character works as a hotel front-desk officer in that Asian country.

She meets John Lloyd’s character while on a holiday in Manila.

Observed Bea, ‘John Lloyd is more open now, unlike before when he was like a closed book.’

ABS-CBN’s official statement on COMELEC ban

Here’s ABS-CBN’s official statement on the COMELEC and PPCRV (Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting) position on the use of talents as endorsers/campaigners:

The call for ABS-CBN talents who endorse candidates to go on leave during the campaign period is not required by the Fair Election Act or its implementing rules and regulations. Section 36 of COMELEC Resolution No. 8758 in relation to Section 1(4) thereof and the Fair Election Act merely requires that media practitioners such as talents “shall not use his/her time or space to favor any candidate.” In this regard, it is ABS-CBN’s policy that its talents may not use any program to endorse or promote any candidate. This policy is strictly enforced by the network.

The provision of law cited by the PPCRV and COMELEC that requires media personalities to either resign or go on leave applies to employees only. Talents are not employees of the network and, therefore, the said provision does not apply to them.

Kris Aquino Stays

TELEVISION network ABS-CBN yesterday said its talents including Kris Aquino, the younger sister of presidential aspirant Sen. Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino, need not stop appearing on their shows at the network even if they are endorsers of candidates in the coming national and local elections.

The giant network took exception to the warning of the Commission on Elections and Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting that showbiz personalities endorsing political candidates or helping in their campaigns face sanctions if they do so without going on leave first.

“The call for ABS-CBN talents who endorse candidates to go on leave during the campaign period is not required by the Fair Election Act or its implementing rules and regulations,” the broadcast firm contended.

The provision of law cited by the PPCRV and Comelec that requires media personalities to either resign or go on leave applies to employees only. Talents are not employees of the network and, therefore, the provision does not apply to them, ABS-CBN said in a statement.

Section 36 of Comelec Resolution No. 8758 in relation to Section 1(4) thereof and the Fair Election Act merely requires that media practitioners such as talents “shall not use his/her time or space to favor any candidate.” In this regard, it is the network’s strict policy that its talents may not use any program to endorse or promote any candidate, ABS-CBN said.

Bong Osorio, head of ABS-CBN Corporate Communications, said Kris and their other talents are aware of this policy. He said the station will impose sanctions on those who violate this agreement.

However, he said talents who endorse candidates need not stop appearing in their shows as long as they do not plug their candidates or touch politics. Kris has three shows with the network – “The Buzz” which she hosts with good friend Boy Abunda, “SNN”, and a teleserye, “Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo”.

Angel Locsin may bagong manager na!

Now it can be told, Salve A. Ang tinaguriang Dean of Entertainment writers na si Manay Ethel Ramos na ang bagong manager ni Angel Locsin.

Bea Alonzo loveless this Valentine's?

Such a pretty girl, such a pretty face, such a pretty soul and no Valentine? Unbelievable but true.

“Wala talaga,” insisted Bea Alonzo who, in her latest movie, Star Cinema’s post-Valentine offering Miss You Like Crazy (in theaters starting Feb. 24) is again paired with John Lloyd Cruz who also insisted, quite unbelievably, that he, too, is (happily?) single.

On screen, whether on TV (Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay, I Love Betty La Fea, etc.) or in film (Close To You, Now That I Have You and One More Chance), they make quite a handsome, credible pair even if in real life there’s nothing more than friendship between them.

“It’s onscreen chemistry,” said Cathy Garcia-Molina, director of the movie, her first after a freak bike accident in Baguio where her husband was killed.

In a Valentine one-on-one, Bea talked more about being “loveless” and a composite of her ideal man.

So you don’t have a Valentine?

“None. Honest!”

And you’re not celebrating Valentine’s Day?

“I am not. I’m with John Lloyd in Malaysia for one week to finish some scenes in Miss You Like Crazy.”

How do you usually spend Valentine’s?

“I always have work on Valentine’s Day. It happens all the time. So sorry na lang.”

What’s your memorable Valentine’s Day?

“None that I can remember. Pero sa akin naman, you can celebrate Valentine’s any day of the year. Love has no season; you can celebrate it any day without any reason.”

In an interview several years ago when you and John Lloyd were first paired in a soap (Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay), you said that John Lloyd seemed so reclusive, so quiet and so aloof that he would stay by himself in a corner in-between takes. After three more soaps and three movies, has he opened up?

“He’s more open now; he has come out of his cocoon. Before, he seemed impenetrable. He has changed a lot since then. He has become a mixer, hindi na nag-iisa.”

Has John Lloyd ever courted you, o nagparamdam man lang kaya?

“No, he never did.”

What is your idea of courtship?

“The old-fashioned way, ‘yung bibisita sa’yo sa bahay to meet your parents and your siblings like what my first boyfriend did. The relationship didn’t last long, it didn’t even work at all. What they say is true: For a relationship to last, you have to start as friends para you are comfortable with each other.”

If you had a choice, would you prefer as a boyfriend/girlfriend somebody older, somebody younger or somebody your age?

“Age doesn’t matter. It’s not nice to set a standard, otherwise madi-disappoint ka lang. Looks is not important to me; what’s important is the ugali. Kung guapo at maganda ang ugali, better!”

Are you romantic by nature?

“Very! Mahilig ako mag-prepare ng kung anu-ano for the one I love. Romantic nga, eh! During the ligawan, aba, super hard-to-please ako, but I become submissive na kapag steady na kami.”

Do beautiful girls/guys like you also get broken-hearted?

“Oo naman! Wala sa looks ‘yon. So far, I’ve been broken-hearted three times na.”

Who’s the stupid guy who broke your heart?

“Secret!”

How many times have you been in love?

“So far? Three times na.”

Can you recall your first love?

“I was 15. Yes, I was already in showbiz then.”

What about your first kiss?

“It was onscreen, with John Lloyd in Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay.”

And your first date (without your mom around)?

“It was with Miko (Palanca). It was on my birthday. We spent it in the car. He fetched me kasi from the set at ‘yon na ang naging date namin — in his car!”

How long did your relationship with Miko last?

“One year and a half only, half lang of the time it took him to court me and make me say yes.”

Can you tell if a guy is serious or just making fun of you?

“Oo naman! I don’t want to tell how so I won’t give myself away.”

If you were to describe the “perfect” guy/girl for you, how would you do it — you know, the looks of ____, the brains of____ and the money of_____?

“Ay, mahirap yata! Let me try. The looks of Brad Pitt, the brains of Will Smith and the money of...you know, ayoko naman ng masyadong mayaman...pero, yes, the money of Prince William.”

Is there anybody you miss like crazy?

“Yes, somebody I knew from high school. I won’t mention his name baka mabuking ako.”

Last year pa raw sila nagkalabuan ni John at naspasya silang finally ay maghiwalay bago mag-Pasko.

Paliwanag ni Shaina, natagalan siyang magsalita about the break-up kasi she’s not the type na nagsasalita about her issues pero nanaig ang paniniwala niyang she still owes the public an explanation.

Judy Ann Santos' career in doldrums?

IT looks like Judy Ann Santos’ drama series “Habang May Buhay” would be aired for one season only because of its low ratings.

Some people are speculating that ABS-CBN decided to release the series to show Claudine Barretto, who has transferred to GMA7, that the network still has another star in Juday.

It is rumored that Juday’s comedy series with husband Ryan Agoncillo is also in danger allegedly not only due to poor ratings but to Ryan’s hosting “Eat Bulaga” which reportedly did not please ABS-CBN management.

With the perceived declining trend in Juday’s career, what could possibly be done to make it rise again?

Toni at Shaina, walang Valentine date

Well, I have to be happy for her.

Siguro, more than anything, I just have to be thankful na meron pa rin ho akong trabaho, and ito ngang Rubi, so, malaki ho ang pasasalamat ko.

Matagal ko nang gustong mag-explore as an actress and kahit paano, mag-mature as an actress. And at the same time, happy rin ako kasi si Jake, na maraming nagkagusto sa team-up namin, parang follow-up project ’to, same with Angelica, na matagal ko nang kaibigan, so, talagang magaan sa set namin,” she said.

* * *

Saka ’pag sumabay kami sa 14, maraming tao, lahat lumalabas, so, ibang araw.

“Wala siyang reklamo, very mabait ’yon, good boy ’yon,” say ni Toni na natatawa.

Pangatlong Valentine na nila ito ni Direk Paul dahil three years na sila at natatandaan pa niya ang first Valentine nila na nag-dinner date raw sila sa isang classy restaurant sa Makati.

So, kelan naman sila ikakasal?

“Hindi pa, kasi may concert. Mag-concert muna,” say niya.

Toni is having a concert on Feb. 26 and 27 at the Music Museum titled Love is…Toni Gonzaga bilang part ng ASAP XV concert series at excited siya dahil first time niyang mag-show under ASAP production.

Alfie Lorenzo heart attack - Judy Ann Santos says condition is now stable

A rather unexpected event occurred yesterday. Renowned talent manager Alfie Lorenzo suffered a mild heart attack, thus instantly raising concern among all his closest friends and colleagues. And included in this worried bunch is no other than teleserye queen, and Tito Alfie’s very own talent, Judy Ann Santos.

Judy Ann happens to be one of the first people to know about Tito Alfie’s predicament. And upon learning the news around 6pm yesterday, she said that she instantly rushed to Capitol Medical Center to check on him. During the transfer to St. Luke’s Medical Center, she even opted to ride with him in the ambulance, so that she could personally tend on the needs of her beloved manager. Truly, she was worried of the old man’s condition. In an interview with SNN, she even shared how anxious she was to hear of the sad news. Utterly she said, “Nanlamig talaga ako. And on the way I was making calls.”

Though it was in fact a nerve-wrecking experience, Judy Ann is very much thankful that Tito Alfie had surpassed the fretful incident. Now, she gladly tells everyone that the talent manager has shown positive responses to his treatments. With much delight she says, “Tito Alfie is now stable. He’s conscious, pero he’s still under observation. Series of tests na lang to know kung ano talaga ang problema. Pero, ‘yon nothing to worry about.”

Coco Martin denies Kris Aquino and Kim Chiu bullied him

Bea Alonzo speaks up about rumors linking John Lloyd Cruz and Shaina Magdayao

Shaina Magdayao and John Prats’s recent breakup was allegedly caused by a third party, supposedly John Lloyd Cruz. In an article previously published on ABS-CBN.com, Shaina already denied that John Lloyd had any involvement in the breakup and insisted that she and the dramatic actor are just good friends. John Lloyd has yet to give his side of the story, but during the press conference of his new movie Miss You Like Crazy, his big screen leading lady Bea Alonzo, who happens to be Shaina’s best friend, was asked for her comment on this issue. Bea said that she has yet to have a serious talk with her best friend, and John Lloyd who was sitting beside her during the press conference only smiled as he listened to what she has to say.

“Kami ni Shaina we see each other sa ASAP pero hindi na kami masyadong nakakapagchikahan kasi walang time. To be honest hindi pa kami nakakapag heart-to-heart talk ni Shaina. I’ve always been happy for Shaina,” said Bea.

Bea didn’t seem to be bothered by this rumor since she focused her attention on her much awaited movie reunion with John Lloyd in Miss You Like Crazy instead. They always challenge us to go beyond our limits.”

In the eight years of being a love team, with numerous top-rating teleseryes and box-office films under their belt, Bea and John Lloyd have managed to maintain a good friendship. Bea explained that maybe it is not yet time for the two of them to have a romantic relationship.

Nevertheless, the 22-year-old actress admitted that she does find Lloydy a very attractive guy.

Bea also talked about the love scene she had with John Lloyd in Miss You Like Crazy, which she rates as a “perfect ten.” “Sa naramdaman ko, ten nga siguro [on a scale of one to ten with ten being the highest]. Dapat i-all out mo na para one take lang, ha ha ha!”
