Venus Raj wants Piolo and Coco
GUESS who just turned Kapamilya?
2010 Miss Universe 4th runner-up Venus Raj, that’s who.
Venus was with Stella Marquez-Araneta, herself a former Miss International and chairperson of Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc.
In that particular contract signing, the major, major partnership between the Kapamilya and the BPIC, as represented by Ms. Araneta, in airing the much-awaited 2011 Binibining Pilipinas pageant on April 10 was sealed and delivered, wika nga.
Thus, Ms. Araneta’s dream for the Bb. Pilipinas pageant to go global has been realized. She is certain that through ABS-CBN’s The Filipino Channel (TFC), the pageant will be seen all over the world.
Present, too, at the contract signing were Charo Santos-Concio, ABS-CBN president and COO; Cory Vidanes, channel head, ABS-CBN, Linggit Tan, head of TV, ABS-CBN, Conchitina Bernardoand top couturier-designer Pitoy Moreno, members of the BPIC executive board.
Officially, ABS-CBN will air as well the Miss Universe Pageant this year and which will be held in Sao Paolo, Brazil.

Ayon kay Venus, if there’s one person na haping-hapi sa pagpirma niya ng kontrata sa ABS CBN, ito ay ang kanyang ina.
Sa kanilang bayan kasi sa Bato, Catanduanes, favorite ng mga residents doon ang Kapamilya channel.
As what type of show ang gugustuhin niyang kanyang maging unang assignment? At sinu-sino naman sa mga Kapamilya actors ang gugustuhin niyang maging first leading man.
“Hindi ho ako magiging mapili for my first show,” sagot niya. “Bahala ho diyan ang ABS-CBN.”
Venus named Piolo Pascual and Coco Martin as two of her dream leading men.
At sa himig na wari mo’y kinikilig, she cites Coco na kanyang major crush.
“Hindi ba sobrang mas matangkad siya kesa kay Coco?,” hirit ng entertainment editor (People’s Journal) na si Eugene Asis.
“Well, I’m willing na huwag mag-high heels, makapantay ko lang siya sa (height),” sukling hirit ni Venus.
